Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourself, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interest of others. Philippians 2:3-4
Dear Jesus,
Please pray for me today. As the Holy Spirit reveals to me the magnitude of Your divine love and grace, I look to you in gratitude and awe, as my Lord and Savior, who gave up His life for me. Intercede for me dearest Jesus; help me to live out my earthly life in humility with a passion for serving and loving others above myself, just as you did when you walked this earth.
May all my thoughts, words, and actions build up and edify others. As I look at life through Your precious eyes, help me to love the unlovable. Bless me with spiritual discernment to recognize opportunities around me where I can lift up those in need and help in carrying their burdens by bringing prayers and petitions to the Almighty Father on their behalf.
Bless me with Your grace and strength so in times of weakness, I can turn to the Holy Spirit and lovingly accept His help in humility and faith. I ask the Holy Spirit to help me stand firm in the footsteps the Father has established for me, on the path of Your righteousness, Christ Jesus. And as I travel on this path, I pray that You lead me in Your ways, Your life, Your truth and may each step along the way glorify You and God the Father and may my walk always be according to the Father’s good and holy Will. In Your name I pray, my beloved Jesus.
