Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.
And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.
And Hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Romans 5:1-5
Dear God of mercy,
It is by your grace, your mercy and your love that I stand here today, forgiven of my sins – past, present, future, through my faith in your precious Son, Jesus Christ. Thank You for loving me so much, you would give me Jesus. Thank you for your gift of grace, my salvation, and the opportunity to spend all of eternity with You.
I pray, Father, for the strength of heart and mind to love the Holy Spirit tenderly, and never hurt Him. I pray, Father, for my heart to be a pure and yielding heart, one that embraces the leading of the Holy Spirit always, bringing glory to the King of Kings, and to You, heavenly Father. May my words become Christ’s words, my thoughts His too. May my life show evidence of the divine presence of the Spirit of the Living God, alive and well in my heart to all, bringing glory and honor to You.
I trust in Your plan for my life and understand and accept that there will be difficult times now and then. I know that with the Holy Spirit to help me, I can overcome any obstacle, any challenge, because Your grace is sufficient.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
I praise and worship You Father, today and all the days of my life. In Jesus’ holy name I pray.
Amen
